Day two on the parkway, another relaxed day. We completed the drive in the early afternoon with a visit to the Ranger centre, and the children receiving their patches and badges for their hard work in their workbooks.
We crossed from Mississippi, over the Mississippi River, into Louisiana - where we are staying tonight, on the banks of the same river! We have all just finished a swim and sunbake, and are getting ready for dinner. Tomorrow we head 3 hours away to New Orleans for 4 days.
